There is something special about Catharina Song-ee Choi designation as Miss Earth Korea. She is the first mixed-race Miss Korea on international beauty pageant stages.
Choi is half-brazilian and this choice leaves a mark of innovation and openness for a country historically conservative and traditionalist in beauty contests.
