South Sudan's 21 year old Akol Dok was crowned Mister Africa International 2016 at a ceremony held at the Great Hall, UEL in London on the 22nd of October, 2016.

Nigeria's Alex Gede and Ghana's Raymond Kyerematen placed second and third respectively, with Madagascar's Ik Agho winning the coveted Best Body award.
Akol Dok, the new Mister Africa International, will focus his reign on African youth development and will travel to different countries like his predecessors to encourage talent and education in order to inspire entrepreneurship.
Akol is proudly representing South Sudan at the 2016 Mister Africa International Competition with this year's theme "Body, Brains, and Business" which seeks to find an individual who will inspire a young generation of Africans towards entrepreneurship that will rapidly change the continent. He believes that he have the vision, experience, and knowledge to adequately represent the great continent of Africa.
